    Type in a SQL query

Sometimes I need to verify that a query I will use in my software works right. Is there a way to type in or import a SQL select statement into Access 2000?

Trying to build a query in design mode or with a wizard does not suit me. (I've not succeeded in using them) I am vastly more comfortable typing in a real SQL statement.

    Thanks,
    Jon

If you go into the design view of a query and change the view to SQL by using the view mode drop down in the top left hand of your command bar you can view/type in the sql there.
