Question Form shadows grow darker with each record change

Hi, As the title states, whenever i change records on a form (or requery) the buttons shadows seem to "grow" darker until the look horrible. is there some code maybe that can refresh the look after each update?

    Thanks

Take a look under your form properties, something is there that is telling it to change.

I can't imagine any form property that would cause this behavior. Sounds more like a Windows 7 quirk. Will have to check out my 2010 running on XP and see if I can replicate.

Yea i was wondering about windows as well. I'm running 2010 with W7. its just button shadows that do this, and they get progressively darker with each requery. As if its redrawing the shadow each time on on top of another. Visually its crap.

Actually, it might be the whole package - your hardware (monitor, cpu), Windows 7, Access - not all getting along with each other.

Time for some diagnostics, viruses, spyware, junk, corruption, Hey, this is Microsoft we are talking about so it could be all kinds of stuff. Fist run all of your windows tools, then you can start with Access.

My office computer tends to leave 'residuals' on the monitor but appears to be only in the VBA editor. The Editor window does not seem to fully refresh. I have to drag/swipe another app window over the Editor to force another refresh, sometimes more than once.
