Populating Word Template from Form in Access

    Hi guys

I am creating a db for my work place that records incidents that take place. I am a novice at Access but I have made different tables, queries, forms and reports and they all work.

I was wondering if there was a way to extract data that a user enters into a form and then use that to populate a word template *without* coding using VBA? I am really a beginner and not confident with VBA at all. I have read the forum and that seems to be an option (but would rather something else if possible!)

I have tried the Albert Kallal solution but it is not effective with my database.

If anyone could help/suggest an alternative, I would be greatly appreciative.

    Thanks in advance

    Allison

Want to provide link to Albert Kahill solution.

Mail Merge and VBA are the only options I know of. I've never done Mail Merge but even that might require VBA.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Apologies - http://www.kallal.ca/msaccess/msaccess.html is the one I tried. Thanks for your quick response.

There is a wizard for mail merge http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ac...001233657.aspx

If neither the wizard nor A. Kallal's solution is suited to your db, what else could be? Why do these options not serve? What do you need to happen?

The more automation is desired, the more code (often VBA) is required.
