    Unhappy Need Help to Create Relations between 4 Tables in access 2010

    I have four tables.
    I would like to define Table-1 as parent. Table-2 as Children, Table-3 as Grandchildren, and Table-4 as a Great Grandchild. I would be grateful to anybody can help me to define these relationship between the tables.

    Table-1:

    Field Name Data Type Description
    ID AutoNumber
    ParentID Number Define Parent as First Level (i.e. Level 1)
    ChildrenID Number Define Children as Second Level (i.e. Level 2)
    GrandchildrenID Number Define Grandchildren as Third Level (i.e. Level 3)
    GreatGrandChildrenID Number Define Great Grandchildren as fourth Level (i.e. Level 4)

    X2

    Table-2:
    Field Name Data Type Description

    Haven't done this type of thing, but I don't think the design is appropriate. I'd lean towards what Allen describes here:

    That would be more long-term flexible.
