Stupid problem: Date/ID displayed as Hash Marks until you click them

    Hi there,

Any idea why the ID and Date fields in my report are being displayed as ##### until I click it, then it shows the correct date?

    Thanks,

I can kind of reproduce this error that you describe by narrowing a date field on one of my reports so that it does not display the full value.
When I run the report, I get '####' - but if I click on a value it will display as much as it is able to in the text box.
Have you tried widening the controls that you're using to display those two values on the report?

I had this problem with a straightforward text box displaying a 'double' number. Hadn't a clue why until I found this. Formatted it as 'Fixed' and it was fine.
