create records in another table based on new records added to database.

I have a database with multiple tables....tblEmployees is all information regarding employees. tblTraining has all training information for each employee. There is some of the training that every employee must have completed before they actually start working at my location. THey are not entered into my database until they arrive here (I have no information about them until they are transferred to me).

In tblEmployee, there are the following fields:
    EMPLOYEEID
    LASTNAME
    FIRSTNAME
(There are several other fields but they are related to personal information and not training).

In tblTraining, there are the folowing fields:
    TRAININGID
    EMPLOYEE (Lookup to tblTraining)

    CERTIFICATIONTYPE
    EXPIRATIONDATE
CLASSNAME (Lookup to another table with all the course info)
    COURSEDATE
    COURSECOMPLETE (Y/N field)
    COURSEHOURS

I also have a form (frmEmployeeList) where I enter new employees. I have a command button on that page to take me to frmTraining where I can enter specifics about training classes. I have another command button to a form (frmCertifications) that has all the certifications and their expiration dates (this was done on a separate form as these certifications are the most important for us to track).

EVen after I enter an employee in the database, that person has no records in tblTraining until a manually enter that data. I want my database to automatically create records in tblTraining for those certifications when I enter the employee initially (those certifications are CPR and TOC) so that all I have to do is enter the expiration date. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?
