Can I use Access to keep my product list updated?

At the moment I have an Excel file that contains all of my product data.

I have fields such as Brand, Part number, Vendor part number, price, etc

I am not very good at Access but I believe that it might be better to use Access to update the data when my vendor gives me updated prices and inventory.

    Is this assumption correct?

If so, then keeping it simple, how would I go about creating a way to update my product list when I get a new Excel sheet with my vendors new items and prices?

    Thanks

    Matt

Access can link to or import from Excel worksheet. If the worksheet structure is too complicated for linking or importing, VBA can be used to pull data from worksheet.

It is even possible to copy/paste rows from Excel to Access table.
