importing ms foxpro dbf files into acccess 2010

All I'm in deep need. I just got a win 8 computer with access 2010. I have ms FoxPro files with my baseball card inventory . I have only the dbf files. Without loading up the floppy disks again into my new computer. I would like to know how to load these files into ms access 2010. I have tried many ways using external data menu with no help. Please email me at ssemel@nyc.rr.com

That thread I referenced is all I know about FoxPro and connecting to tables created by FoxPro. Need to set up an ODBC connection. To do that, need a current FoxPro driver. That is discussed in that thread and links referenced in thread.

Otherwise, use FoxPro to export data into a format that Access can then import from (CSV is a good file format for this), assuming FoxPro has export capability.

If you can't install FoxPro on new machine, reactivate the old machine that does have FoxPro.

In addition, I Googled "convert foxpro to access" and found these (and a host of other) links:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/959134 which provided this link http://www.universalthread.com

    http://www.convert-db.com/foxpro-to-ms-access.htm ($99?)
    http://www.ozgrid.com/database/dbcon...ro.htm#Special ($79)

    This thread (see last post):
    http://forums.devx.com/showthread.ph...Access-any-way

You have tried putting the FoxBase files on the new computer and linking to them? Just curious...
I used A2K to link to Clipper (xBase) files to import the data. Had to create new forms, queries & reports, but the data was there..

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
