Inch symbol in query filter criteria

Using Access 2003. Have a string that I need filter on in the query criteria that contains a double quote inch symbol- ie, "15" PVC Pipe". The query fails because it sees the inch symbol as the closing quote. Most of the records in the field that I am filtering on contain this symbol embedded somewhere in the string. Is there a way to get the query to recognize this character so it doesn't think it is the closing quote?

Try enclosing the text in single quotes: '15" PVC Pipe'

If you get a query that has both single and double quotes, of course, you're out of luck.

Or use the Replace function on your field and double the quotes:
Replace([YourField],","")
