    Zoom in design view

    Howdy,

I know this one may have been beaten over the head a few times, but I wondered if it is possible to zoom a form in design view (2010)? I don't like the align feature and my eyes are starting to hurt when moving things around!

    Thanks!

If you click on the controls you wish to size or align, so that they are highlighted, then right click. You will see size and alignment. Click on alignment and follow the wizard to align left, right, top or bottom. You can do it similarly for sizing controls.

Also, if you select one or more control, then hold down the "Ctrl" and use the arrow keys, you can nudge the control into position.
If you use the shift key and the arrow keys, you can change the size of the control.
A couple of short cuts I use all of the time.
