ComboBox Selection should return Query and save result in Table

Hi guys,



I am new to access as well as programming. Please help me
I have created Tables

Table Item - ItemName, ItemCode,Datein, ItemDesc, WarehouseId,SupplierId
TableWarehouse - WarehouseId, WarehouseName
TableSupplier - SupplierId, SupplierName

I have a form to enter the data in which 4 fileds(textboxes) are bounded to Table item and two comboBox one bound to Table warehouse(name) and one to table supplier(name).

When I select the corresponding Warehouse Name or Supplier Name , I want the form to save the corresponding ID (ie, warehouseid and supplierid to Table Item).

how to make that query and make it save to table when the save button is clicked.


Please advice /help/ suggest
