A Combo Box Dependent to another Combo Box.

Hi there,



I have two combo boxes on a form. If i select the Product Type from CboProductType then the values related to that type of Product must be restricted in CboProductDetails (multiple values) . i have go through different examples and threads but could understand so will appreciate your support with codes.


Tables:

ProductType

ProductTypeID PK
ProductType


ProductDetails

ProductDetailsID PK
ProductDetails
ProductTypeID FK

Form name : "MarketDetails"

and two combo boxes "CboProductType" and CboProductDetails"

these r a pain in the ... what u do is in the 2nd combo u reference the lookup query to the 1st combo.
but when you go to the next record and select a different value in the 1st combo and then click the 2nd combo, it will show the values for the first combo1 u selected. c
aused me much heartache back in the day. sometimes still does. what u do is do a combo1 control requery after update. but it does always work the way u want. u gotta play around.
