Questions about memory size of db and its objects

I have a quite big db, I often "compact and repair" but I still have a 31 MB monster.

Now I am trying to reduce and optimize.

I wonder if there is any way to know where are the critical points, which objects are using more memory to first focus on them. I want to know the memory usage for EACH object.

    And a very concrete question:

If I have reports or forms with lots of records when I open them, do they use more memory than if they were filtered somehow?? Or there is no difference because the memory used is just in the design and the data uses only RAM when it's loaded.

    thanks

    Thanks orange.

I browsed this threads and got some good tips (*bookmark*).

But I still don't have an answer for any of my two questions...

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
