Search form fields in alpha order

When I first set up this form, it searched in perfect alpha order using the indicator arrows at the bottom of the left hand page. Now, for some reason, it's in semi-alpha order. For example a random "L" name will appear in the middle of the names starting with the letter "B." I resorted both the table and query housing the last names, but it didn't have any effect on the form.

How can I get the form to return to it's original true alpha sort by last name? I might add the alpha sort was fine until I did a search by ID number.

Never mind -- I figured it out.
