Question New To SQL, Need To Learn About Triggers

    Hello,

I'm new to SQL, specifically T-SQL, I've done some research online and have a general idea of triggers. But I wanted to ask the community for any really good sites that will give good information on triggers, how they work, their capabilities, and examples.

Thank you to all who read and respond to this question. You assistants helps to create the next generation of guru's

Sorry, I was not specific enough. I'm using a SQL server 2008 R2 backend and an Access 2007 front end. I though the general SQL Server form would have been my best bet to get some help. If there is another forum that would be better suited please let me know.

    Thank you,

I don't use SQL so not familiar with 'triggers' but sounds a lot like an event.

I googled: Access database sql trigger

    Here are two more references:

June7 Triggers are SQL Server Stored Procedures that are executed by specific Events. The Only Ones I've used are insert, update and delete triggers.
