Getting parameters from a form

I have a form with a combo box filled with data from another table and a button on the form. I want the query to run and a report to open in print preview using the query results. I have all the parameters set and when I step through it I get the query with the appropriate results but when the report opens it has every record on it not just the query results.

Any ideas??

Could be a variety of causes.
