Default Value

Can I make the default value of a field be something in another field in another table. I tried to enter into the default value the following but, it does not find the field.


[tablename].[fieldname] I also tried it [fieldname].[tablename]. Any suggestions as to wheter this is possible or not would be appreciated.

Not that I know of. I tried DFirst and DLookup but those functions are not recognized.

Would need code to set the DefaultValue property.

Why do you need this?
