    Access Level "function"

    Is there a function that will return the level of Access currently running? I.e., 2003, 2010, etc.
    Thanks,

    Bill

    Try

    Dim varRet As Variant
    varRet = SysCmd(acSysCmdAccessVer)

    That should give you the numeric version, not the public version.

    Yes, I see 11.0 for 2003 and 14.0 for 2010. I assume 2007 would return 12.0.

    Thanks,
    Bill

    For anyone following this, you can also type ?Version into the immediate window. I have 2003

    ?version

    Greetings from Reno. I've been in your area many times. Probably played golf at all the courses in that area, stayed in Portola a couple of times. Very nice area!!

    Small world. Reno is our main shopping hub and entertainment with season tickets to the Reno Phil.

    I love it up there and would consider living there, since I can work from home a lot, but it's in CA. I don't want to donate any more of my paycheck to taxes than I already am.

    Let me know next time you're down and we can have a drink; alcoholic or otherwise.
