Hi i have created a form with sub forms that would be used for data entry in a student database. The form is linked to the sub form via the application NO. In form view i have the course field as a drop down box that allows a student to select the subject that they wish to pursue. What i need the form to do is to allow me to add at least 5 subject to the same application no. Currently if I place 5 drop down box on the form when i select one subject they all update to the subject i have chosen, instead of giving me a new record for each drop drown box. The relationship is set right because I can do it in the datasheet view just not in the form view. Can anyone help me please.

That's because you have all 5 comboboxes bound to the same field in table.

That is not how to add new records with form. Review http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ac...010098674.aspx
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
