    HTML and VBA

I am trying to import HTML from a .txt file and assign to a variable in Access. The reason I'm not copying and pasting directly into Access VBA is because of the HTML tags and such that I would have to deal with. Basically, I just want to know how to "read" .txt content into Access VBA and assign it to a variable. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

assign *what* to a variable? the entire HTML text? why would you want to do that? can't think of any reason why you would...care to elaborate?
