Updating a Visio drawing through Access

So I have an Access program that lets you update data that is linked to a shape in a Visio drawing. My question is how I can update the properties of all the shapes in a drawing with the updated data of my database through VB code in Access? Or how can I automatically update those shape properties whenever I update my database?
