    Authority check

I have a form that writes a .dat file to a location on our network.
    "S:\Imports\ImportFiles"
How can I confirm the user has access/authority to the network folder inside the form and inform the user when they don't have access/authority?
    Thanks

Maybe let code attempt to copy the file and if rejected, handle the resulting error in error handler code.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
