    Drill Down capability

    Hi All

What is the best tool to use for employing the ability to use some type of drill down capability. For example: Sales totals for a business unit for a day, drill down to order level, perhaps from there to a particular state etc.... from summary to detail. any help would be most appreciated!

    Thank you!

Cool learn something new every day. I'd be interested to know this too, we used what I'm sure was a fairly ineffective system at my last job. We had tables linked by keys in a hierarchical kind of way, so if you wanted to break data down further you would do a select query using a where statement with the key of the higher table.
