    Form as an exe


    I am a newbie and have just created a form that seems to be working just fine and wanted to see if it is possible to have a form as an exe without having to open access. can this be done

    In short No, Access needs to be loaded unless you are running the Access Runtime version. This is after you have created the runtime application. What version of Access are you using?

    Dcrake is correct. You cannot create an stand-alone executable file using Access. however, if you mean that you only want a form to be loaded in the windows acting like an exe file, like floating there without showing the whole access application, then it can be done. I have that code in my other computer but it is not with me right now...probably if I can get back here by tomorrow, I may share it with you. Or maybe someone here might be able to give it to you now.
