Importing problems from Excel

I am importing an Excel spreadsheet into a table in Access. I had no issues with the import using Excel and Access 2003.
I am now using both Excel and Access 2010. When I import I have a field in Excel that has the format of number and is
16 digits (Ex. 9012345678948579). When the information is imported into the table it appears something like 3.5383803E+15.
I have tried changing the the data type in Access. I have tried chaning the format in Excel and it still does not work. I have been


working on this for a long time. Please if any one can assist it would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
