On Click - Ignore Required Fields

I am modifying a form for environmental sampling and we have decided to put an abandon site box on the form for sites that we start to sample but for whatever reason we have to leave before finishing. What I want to do is provide the option on click of a button to immediately move to the next record, bypassing all required fields, but save the information that has already been entered on the record being passed over - which would include reason for abandoning the site.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome Amy,
Without knowing more about your system, it would be difficult for us to make other than guesses on how to do what you want. It might help if you could post your db for us to examine. Remove any sensitive data of course.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
