    Cool Table Entry Sum

Excuse the newb question, I'm still getting the hang of Access ^.^. I have a table set up with 5 entries for numbers, and I want to have the final section of the table be the total of all of those entries for easy lookup. It's probably ridiculously easy, I just haven't figured it out yet. Any help?

Calculated values do not belong in a table. Do it in a query if you need it.

To add to the explanation, there are no triggers in Access tables so the calculation could easily be wrong if any of the other fields were changed. Doing the calculation in a query guarantees a correct value from the current contents of the other fields. Are you ready to use the the Solved thread tool on this thread yet?

Thanks for the helpful description! In the end, it ended up not being a necessary thing, but hey (hopefully I can con someone into helping me with my other much more crazy problem for the same database though )
