    Append table off the form

    Hello to all of you ,

    Can I append a table in Access 2003 off the form ( append value of three text boxes to the table). I have form frmCalGross and I calculate there gross remit to banks. The ending value located in three text boxes txtGross,txtNet and txtComm. I create a table tblRemitottal with four fileds Gross,net,com an date and I woul like to append values of these boxes along with date to the table via vb code.
    Thank you in advance for help.

    CurrentDb.Execute "INSERT INTO tablename(field1, field2, field3, field4) VALUES(" & txtGross & "," & txtNet & "," & txtComm & "," & Date())

    The real trick is figuring out what event to put the code in.

    Saving aggregate data can be a bad idea. Best practice is usually to calcluate summary data on report.
    How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
