Hello. I am still new to the access world and have made it to the end of a small inventory database I wrote for our company. Of course right before its complete I run into the biggest problem Ive had through the entire development. Im trying to run some calulations and keep getting #Name? where I would expect the calculation to be. I can also get #Error in the same field when my expression is written incorrectly. The expression I have so far is:
=Sum([tblPOInventoryTransactions].[QTYReceived])-([tblSOInventoryTransactions].[QTYShipped])
This expression is in a text box on my main form. tblPOInventoryTransactions and tblSOInventoryTransactions are both tables with subforms on the main form. All I need to do is subtract QTYshipped from tblSOInventoryTransactions and QTYReceived from tblPOInventoryTransactions and have the results displayed on the main form.
Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
