Creating Excel pivot table issue

I'm trying to create a pivot table in Excel to display data from a query in the Access database.
I've created the query and it correctly displays the data. When I try to connect to the query
from Excel, the query does not display in the data connection wizard. All of the other queries


in the database are displayed except the one I just created.

Suggestions?

This thread http://www.accessmonster.com/Uwe/For...abase-in-Excel identifies a couple of possible causes. As pointed out in the thread, it is my experience that Excel cannot deal with the Nz function.
