combine table fields to display in one field?

My image database has 6 subject fields...subject 1,2,3,etc.
    my questions:
    1. Is there a way to have all the info in all 6 subject fields displayed as one block of text in a form just called "subjects"?

    2. Is there a way to hide the empty fields in form view while still displaying the record?

    appreciate any help.
    thanks

The answer to both questions is "probably". You can have one control on a form display concantenated fields by setting the ControlSource to =[Field1] & ", " & [Field2] ...etc. You can also use the Current event to hide controls if you want.
