    Need to know the date when another text box is entered

    Ok I'm trying to be able to populate the date that a number was entered without having a date box for them to click or enter manually. is this possible??

    Where will this Date be stored? Where does the number go??
    Do you have something in mind?

    OK, that works, and shows you the Date in a text box.
    If you were simply saving a record, you wouldn't need to show the data in a text box.
    You could have a Date field in the record, and populate it when you save the record.

    Sorry...Yes orange I want it to save a date when information is entered. So when you save and close you can make it add a date?

    There isn't a date option(yet) in the part that is filled out with just information about a client. So I need it to capture a date when this information is entered. I was seeing if there would be a way to do so but by hiding the text box with the date and not having someone enter a date into a text box.

    You don't need a textbox, and you don't have to show the date.All you want is to store the Date when you save the record, right?

    So put a LastSavedDate in your table. When you save the record save it with the current Date which is Date().
    Idf you need the exact time you would use Now().
