Field List greyed out

I am a senior citizen just starting with Access and although following a manual I have completed my Table and saved it but when I went into Form Design, the Field List was greyed out, what have I done wrong.

Any help would be gratefully Appreciated - Thank You

Did you check to see if the list is Enabled and not Locked? In the Property Sheet, this can be seen in the Data tab. You can press F4 in design view to see the Property Sheet.

Thank you for your help,TG_W. I found out by trial and error that although I had made my Table, I had not used the Form wizard to say what items from the data list I wanted or in what order I wanted them on the Form. As soon as I had done this and completed the wizard setup everything came on line and then I was able to go to the property sheet as you suggested and check to confirm that my list was enabled and not locked.

Thank you very much for your help and just to let you know that I am now starting my own notebook/manual where I can write all these tips down for the future and so I won't make the same mistake next time.
