    I would have a separate table for the contractors and the developers and link them to your project table. Take a close read on the white paper to try and understand 1st Normal form and 2nd Normal form.

    Also look at this site. Here are a couple of link to data layouts. Not exactly the same as yours, but will give you an idea about normalization.
