OK, but once again, you are opening up a recordset with no filtering and no sorting. A table has no order. There is no guaranteed which record will be "first" when you open the recordset.
Your code will work if the tables each have one, and only one, record. If there are more than one record, you can't rely that the same record will appear each time.
Good luck.......
Steve,
Very true...I am going to put more conditions and user input at the top so that the appropriate report is printed.
It is reading a record, reading the Probability and Impact, and placing that number in the correct box, which is important.
I also realize that I have assignments backwards, which I can easily fix...here is a pic of what I wanted it to do, less the backwards P&I programming!!!
Interesting.....
BTW, in the colored boxes, the risk ID is in the wrong place OR the Probability/Impact captions are switched.
According to the colored boxes, you have:
Risk ID = 6
Probability = 2
Impact = 3
not
Risk ID = 6
Probability = 3
Impact = 2
Hi Bretz,
I am working on a very similar project and your updated code could be very usefull to me.
Could you send me the file or the code?
Thanks in advance!
