Is there no simple expressions to remove some characters from a name field?

If you know the exact characters that need to be removed, the Replace function would work. Can't get much simpler than the expression I offered. The expression works in my test so the only recourse now is to offer your project for analysis.

I would offer it up but the project has some sensitive information regarding customers at our bank. I will give your expression a try again. Thanks

As suggested by instructions, could make copy and remove the sensitive information.

Eureka! I figured this one out using the Mid function. Mid(officersName],10,10). This removed the OURDOMAIN/ and left me with just FirstnameLastname.

Great, it was difficult to determine the result without seeing the form or query

So 'OURDOMAIN' is the literal value and not a generic example? If I had known ...

    Glad you figured it out.
