Pivot chart or Excel?

Hi,

I have a student data base that tracks attendance weekly and in several courses for each student. I collat this information in a query and display it in a pivot chart but do not like the format or appearance. It may be that I am not great with formatting pivot charts or it simply can't be formatted the way I want.. I was wondering if it is possible to link, export to or import an Excel spreadsheet to "improve" upon what I am seeing in the Access pivot chart.

Data can be exported to Excel or Excel can link to table in Access. Tools are on the External Data tab in Access and Data tab in Excel.
