Importing Excel file based on Criteria

I would like to import Excel files on monthly basis into Access tables. The column headings are months (Jan-Dec) and would like to use criteria (if I select April it goes into April's column, January into January, etc...). I am barely familiar with Access code and but any help is greatly appreciated.
