In my office we have used Access 2002 for many years. We enter data directly into a table. Many values are repeated row after row, with only slight changes in a few fields. I am looking for a way to automatically have the previous value in a field entered into the current row, and allow this value to be modified if it has changed, but then become the new "default" value for following rows. I have searched the web and found solutions when using forms, but nothing for entering data directly into a table. I have also seen the suggestion for Ctrl + ', this works but I would rather it be done automatically. Can anyone help with this or direct me to a reference or tutorial?
