    Access won't shutdown

    Hello,

Having a problem with MS Access not closing properly after the database closes. Forced to use task manager to close the exe file. Windows operating system is Windows XP. Anyone know the reason for the problem and the fix?

    Regards,

    John

You may have some corruption. Try Compact and Repair and/or inport everything into a fresh db (not export to). And you might also try a /decompile.

That's good. Don't forget to share the results with us. There or other things that can be done if those procedures don't work.
