Exclamation Running a query based on a combobox within a form.

Hi All, this is my first post, I am a noob at Access so take it easy on me. I am sure there is a simple answer to this but I am wondering how I can have a combo box on a form, and once a value is picked, return a query that displays all the data based on that value. I have tried using sub forms and the after update but I cant seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance.

Please describe exactly what you are doing.
If you have a form, and on that form is a combo box, how does the data that populates the combo get there?
When you select a value from the combo box, how do you relate that value to a query?

Please show us what you have done.

I dont have the information set up yet, but I can explain to you what I want to do. So lets say I have a table called "Customer" that has a list of customer names and their addresses. I want to have a form, that will have a combo box at the top, within this combo box is every customer name that is on the "Customer" table. Once I pick a customer name, I would like there address to appear just below on the same form. I do not want a seperate window to appear. Is this any clearer?
