Can a report be emailed as a word document.

I'm trying to email reports to other managers as a Word Document. Is it possible?

Export the report to Word format and then email the new Word doc as attachment.

    Or try SendObject method http://www.fmsinc.com/microsoftacces...endobject.html

I've never tried export to Word or SendObject as rtf, not aware of deficiencies. I do export to PDF just fine. Do they need the Word document for editing?

It's a purchase requisition. The user builds the report and then it automatically emails to their manager for approval.

So they won't change anything, just review, or do they need to be able to edit, print, and sign?

The manager may edit but usually will just print and sign approval.

If I could tie all of this in so that the purchase reqs are all edited through the database this would'nt be a problem

You are adventuring into territory I have not experienced, only pondered on. I am sure it could be done but would be an elaborate application. Would want to build an interface that managers could be comfortable with. They would modify the requisition elements on a form, save edits with a 'stamp of approval' (digital signature or user code). Then the process would continue to next step. Notifications could be popups in the app or emails sent by the app.
