    Need help in calculating cumulative

    Hi all

I have a DB that tracks tasks from 4 different places in any given time: CSU, Proponent, Vendor and other. The task usually moves back and forth to these 4 selections.

I want to record the number of days each task stays in any selection and also the cumulative number.

For Example: the task starts in CSU, it says for couple of days (let say 3 days). Then the task moves to proponent (let’s say it stays for 2 days). Then for example when the task returns back to CSU again and this time it stays for 2 days for example. I want access to record the current 2 days as well as a total cumulative number for CSU which is in this case 5 days.

I appreciate your help as I had been trying for weeks with no luck.

    Thanks

Are you recording a record for each stage of the task with date received and completed?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
