When does a record get created from a form

I have a data-entry form whose control source is a table. After I enter all fields in that form, I click on a button I added that runs a macro. The macro I made is to Open another from and then close this form.

I want to know at what stage in this process does the data I entered in the first form gets added as a new record to the control source table.

    Thanks

My guess would be when you close the form, but it depends on your specifics. If you're problem is that the data isn't on the form being opened, you can force a save. In a macro, I think it's RunCommand/SaveRecord.

When you change to another record in the form, the pencil disapers and the record was record in the table, or when you close de form.
