Don't understand. What is "Named Table/Structured Table". I have never used a named range in any exports to Excel.

It's a new feature in Excel 2007 and some know it as a Named Table others as a Structured Table in Excel 2007 - basically it'a range that converted to a table.
When using the DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel9, "QueryName", "C:\Test.xls",, "MyName"the last argument can be a Named Range.
So you only export data to just that range. It new to me as well I just started using it.
Hop this helps
Actually, I never used TransferSpreadsheet. I have only one procedure for export and it is updating an existing spreadsheet and the data is not within a continuous range. I have another procedure behind an Excel workbook that pulls data from Access.
You seem to have opened a new can of worms. I can't find anything besides your crossposts on other forums regarding this issue. Have you tried it?

Yes, I'm using it with a Named Range, was trying to use a Named Table and that where I had issues.
