need .pdf format for e-mail attachments which are in .snp format

Hi, We're using Access 2010 on Windows 7.

We have a large database design where we send reports as e-mail attachments. We need to change the way the file is automatically created when sent. I goes to snapshot form every time we attach it to an e-mail. How can we get rid of the snapshot .snp file format? How can we change it to pdf or accbd?
    thanks very much.

How are you creating the snapshot file? Generally, the format of the file is an argument of whatever method you're using.

Thanks, but that's just it. We're not creating the file as a .snp type; it just goes to that format. We're trying to find out how to create the files we send as another format such as pdf or xls. Where on the ribbon or where in the program do you set the type of file you want? That's the question...as far as the method we're using...I'll let you know exact how we get to the e-mail program. Good question. Thanks.

Just for reference, I use 2003 and I send reports via HTML all the time for purchase orders. I highlight the report in the report menu, right/click, choose Send To Mail Recipient. That will open up the file selection menu for which I choose HTML. My menu also allows me to send as Rich Text, Plain Text, Excel, and Snapshot formats.

I also sometimes click a report to view on the screen, then Right/Click while in the report to Send To mail recipient, so that is another option of how I use it. Maybe you are using a similar way, but are choosing Snapshot when you want something else. Reminder, I am using 2003, so maybe your version has a 'default' setting and it is set up as Snapshot.

Just some information if it helps.
