    Convert RTF spacing issue

My report is very simple. It takes the 1 field result from a query, which is of type memo, and sticks it on the report. This way I get paragraph after paragraph which I can then export to an RTF word doc.

For some reason when I hit "print preview", then "Office Links/Publish with MS Word" (2003)
the contents always feel the need to insert new lines (Enter key) in the middle of paragraphs.

I was also wondering if there is a way that I can change the spacing between my paragraphs.
Right now it looks like this. (3 rows here)

    Hello my name is Tom

**this is supposed to be 1 paragraph with no line breaks**
