    Capturing Latest Entry on Subform

I have a shipping database, within it is a form which has basic Shipment Details, and a subform that contains the current status of the item to be shipped. Ex:

    Status: Staged for Shipment Date:09/30/2011
    Status: Shipped to Vendor Date:10/15/2011
    Status: Returned for Maintenance Date:11/01/2011
    Status: Staged for Shipment Date:11/15/2011

The table is very simple, it has a field which refers to the main table ID, then has the BoxStatusID and the BoxStageDate

What I need is to be able to capture the latest status and date from the subform

I would need the last entry which was 11/15/2011 "staged for shipment" to be the record I capture. So, for example if i needed to run a report on all items that are ready for shipment, the above would be captured. If the last status was "returned for maintenace" and i ran the Ready for Shipment report, the above record should not be included.
