Import data from barcode

Hi.
I am relatively new to access and I am using access 2010. What I need to do is enter data into fields on a form from a barcode reader. How do I do this and what external programs do I need (besides the general ones that come bundled with the reader) to do this.

Barcode readers generally act as simple keyboard input. AFAIK you will need nothing special.

Did you mean you want to withdraw the data from the scanner to a data form? Just connect the scanning tool (keyboard input), it works.
