    Date Entry in formatted field

I have a form with a date entry field is formatted mm/dd/yy so that the user just types in the numbers, not the slashes.

An annoying feature of this convenience is that when someone clicks on the field to enter date, they have to be very careful to click on the left side of the entry space. If they don't. the number that they want to enter for month will go to the "dd" or "yy" space, and, of course, generate an error mesage.

Is there some way to get around this? Using A2003 and A2007

You could try setting a calendar so thart user can select date from the calendar.
I have 2003 and know that it changed in 2007.
You could try google for an example of calendar control access 2007.

This site has a lot of calendar info
